Main Author: Sveinn Bjarnason. Sox2 is a pioneer transcription factor that can target condensed nucleosome rich chromatin. Using smFRET, we observed that Sox2 can bind to both free and H1-bound nucleosomes, with a specific role for the intrinsically disordered regions in DNA binding.

Svar lentiveira er próteinið Vif sem sendir A3 til eyðingar í niðurbrotskerfi frumunnar. Í þessu verkefni voru bindisvæði mæði-visnuveiru Vif við prótein sem taka þátt í niðurbroti A3 skoðuð.

Main author : Romain Lasseur. We have generated a mouse model inducing a conditional and hypomorphic MITF mutation in order to be able to study the fate of melanoblasts. Thus, our work will give us a better understand of the role of MITF in melanocytes during their development.
